Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service Conditions of Use

Important Note

Tabcorp Holdings Limited through its subsidiary companies holds wagering licenses in Victoria and New South Wales.

The TAB Racing (VIC) totalisator Betting rules apply to Tabcorp Customers who operate a Victorian telephone and internet betting account. The complete set of totalisator Betting rules for Victoria can be accessed under www.tab.com.au
 

The RaceTAB (NSW) totalisator Betting rules apply to Tabcorp Customers who operate a NSW telephone and internet Betting account.

Tabcorp offers Subscription TV Wagering to registered account holders in NSW and Victoria based on the conditions of use listed below.

Tabcorp means its employees and representatives and includes any successor to the business of Tabcorp, or to any successor of the rights and obligations of Tabcorp.

  1. To use the Subscription TV Wagering Service you must be a registered TAB account holder in either NSW or Victoria.
  2. Residents of the United States of America, the Netherlands and Hong Kong cannot be accepted as Subscription TV Wagering Service customers of Tabcorp.
  3. To use the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service the registered account holder must be at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Conditions of Use.
  4. If you are a NSW TAB account holder you will only be able to access this service if the Foxtel set top box is located in NSW. Similarly if you are a Victorian TAB account holder you will only be able to access this service if the Foxtel set top box is located in Victoria.
  5. The use of the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service is limited to the account nominated by the user on the account registration form, for the express purpose of conducting legitimate business with Tabcorp via the nominated account.
  6. Tabcorp reserves the right to revoke access to an account that has become inactive.
  7. To launch the system you must be viewing the Sky Racing Channel (Channel 519).
  8. Press the red button on your Foxtel remote control to load the Subscription TV Wagering Application.
  9. To access your Wagering account hit the yellow button and then select Log in from the menu. The relevant page will open and you will need to enter your account number and 4 digit phone account PIN to access your account and place a bet.
  10. Use of the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service in violation of any Federal, State or Local laws is prohibited.
  11. An Account Management fee of $5.50 per month (GST inclusive) will be debited from any account that is inactive. An inactive account is an account that has not had a bet placed for a period of six months or longer.
  12. For NSW Accounts the Account Management fee for inactive accounts will be deducted monthly for a period of no longer than 7 years.
  13. Victorian Accounts that have become inactive will have the Account Management fee deducted monthly for a period of no longer than 18 months.

Tabcorp:

  1. Does not guarantee to accept all bets placed through Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service.
  2. Reserves the right to change the method of operating the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service or its method of receiving or accepting bets at any time, whether or not you are informed of those changes.
  3. Will only accept its own records as evidence of bets being placed or not and will not recognise your computer printouts or other records.
  4. You agree not to claim against Tabcorp for compensation to you if there is a fault with the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service system, even if you or others, suffer any kind of loss or damage.
  5. A claim must be lodged with Tabcorp within 14 days of the original transaction.
  6. If Tabcorp has reason to believe that a transaction (including an electronic transaction) on the account may have been initiated by a person not authorised to do so, Tabcorp may at its absolute discretion, disclose details of the transaction, the account and the account holder to third parties for the purpose of establishing whether or not the transaction was validly authorised.
  7. You agree not to claim against Tabcorp for compensation to you if there is a fault with the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service, even if you or others, suffer any kind of loss or damage.
  8. The Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service may be terminated by Tabcorp at any time without giving a reason.
  9. Account holders are responsible for ensuring that their account pin, password, and other personal information that Tabcorp may use to verify your identity are kept secure at all times. Tabcorp bears no liability In the event that you provide your account pin, password and personal information to another person.
  10. The dollars ($) referred to on the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service are Australian dollars.
  11. Tabcorp reserves the right to impose other conditions of use of Subscription TV Wagering Service, or to vary these conditions.

Foxtel Conditions of Use

Foxtel is not liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of using the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service.  This includes any loss you suffer as a result of:

  1. The inability to place or failure to accept a bet submitted via the Tabcorp
    Subscription TV Wagering Service or
  2. The inability to display information or the display of inaccurate information   on the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service.

for any reason whatsoever  including any failure of FOXTEL’s equipment, systems or transmission or the equipment, systems or services provided by FOXTEL’s suppliers.

Credit Card Conditions of Use

  1. Only MasterCard or VISA is accepted for a Subscription TV deposit. 
  2. The card nominated for the transaction must be in the same name as the Tabcorp account.
  3. The minimum account deposit is $20.
  4. The maximum value of deposits is $1,000 a day. Tabcorp may increase this limit during Racing Carnivals.
  5. There is no limit on the number of credit card account transactions per day, within the maximum total deposits limit.
  6. Deposits to your account with a credit card cannot be withdrawn.
  7. Tabcorp reserves the right to determine the acceptance of credit card transactions from any customer.
  8. The Merchant ID is Tabcorp Holdings Limited.
  9. The dollars ($) referred to on the Tabcorp Subscription TV Wagering Service are Australian dollars.
