Placing Bets
After you launch TAB ACTIVE, the first screen you will see is Today’s Gallops. Switch between the different racing codes by using the right/left arrow keys using your FOXTEL remote. Using the up/down arrow keys move the green cursor to highlight the race meeting you want to view, then press the Select button to continue.
Once you have selected your race you will see all the runners for that race plus the current win and place odds. For NSW & VIC customers only by pressing the “0” button on your FOXTEL remote you can switch the view between Tote & Fixed Odds & compare prices for the best value.
To view the Form Guide simply press the Select button when the cursor is on any selection.
To place a bet press the GREEN button. The Choose Your Bet screen has a complete list of all available bet types for the selected race. Choose your bet type by scrolling up/down and pressing SELECT. Your selected runner/s can be chosen by pressing SELECT, to tick and untick the box next to each contestant
For example, to place a Win and/or Place bet, scroll to Win/Place option and press SELECT. The next screen will list all the runners in the race. Scroll up/down to your runner and press SELECT. A tick will appear in the box next to the runner.
You can either scroll down or press the right arrow button to go straight to the Win box and enter the amount you wish to bet using the number keys on your FOXTEL remote. Then press the GREEN button to submit the bet.
When the bet has been lodged, a Bet Confirmation screen will appear, check your bet information is correct then press SELECT to finalise your bet.
Once the bet has been accepted, a Bet Receipt will appear on the screen, providing you with the details of your bet and a transaction number. Once your bet has been finalised it cannot be cancelled.
You can also switch between Sky Racing 1, Sky Racing 2 and Sky Racing World telecasts without having to log-out of TAB ACTIVE, by simply using the Channel +/- button.
